Slow Stitching in the Garden
Join Angela in the garden as she guides you through creating a pieced garden flower out of fabric. This slow-stitching method is a trend that is catching hold for so many makers, from beginners to advanced! Slow stitching is a very easy on-the-go project that you can take anywhere! Even better, there are a Million and one ideas that you can create with your slow-stitched piece. Angela will be sharing ideas, and help you to create a small stitched piece of your own!
Cost:
A kit will be provided for $10 cash at the event
Donations to the Garden are accepted in addition, but not required.

Yoga in the Garden
Join us in the garden for a rejuvenating outdoor yoga session with SherPriya! Set amid the greenery of Mission Meadows Community Garden, this class is a wonderful way to stretch, breathe, and connect with nature and neighbors alike. All experience levels are welcome. The event is free to attend, with donations accepted but never required. Just bring a yoga mat and yourself — we'll see you there!

The Longest Table & Harvest Fest
This fall, Mission Meadows Community Garden is joining a growing regional movement called The Longest Table — a simple idea that's making a big difference across Eastern Washington and North Idaho: bring people together around a shared meal, and watch strangers become neighbors.
We're pairing this gathering with our annual Harvest Fest, celebrating everything our garden has grown this season. Expect a long communal table set right in the garden, seasonal food, good conversation, and a chance to connect with the folks who make this neighborhood green space possible.
Whether you've volunteered here for years or have never set foot in the garden, you have a seat at our table.

Two Cooks with Love: Kombucha Tasting & Light Garden Meal
Join us for "Two Cooks with Love" — an evening of kombucha tasting, a light garden-inspired meal, and simple tips for brewing at home. 🥗🫧
