The Flower Mission
SOW. GROW. GIVE.
SOW. GROW. GIVE.
Aside from their aesthetic appeal, flowers are of course essential to the life cycles and propagation of many plants. Flowers attract pollinators, allowing the processes of fruit development and seed production to take place. Flowering plants help to draw in pollinators which can then also pollinate other plants nearby. They can also attract predatory insects for pest control, and other wildlife that is beneficial for pest control in an organic garden.
We plan to offer Summer Bouquet subscriptions! Sign up for our newsletter to find out first when these will be available for purchase. You’ll have weekly blooms throughout the whole flower season
Here at Mission Meadows, we grow our flowers and vegetables using Permaculture Principals. We avoid the use of herbicides and pesticides. We use companion planting for plant and animal benefits. We make our own compost to use as fertilizer. We make conscious choices about the products we use in our garden care and maintenance.
